Hi Everyone, to all you Halifax fans, members and supporters.
I wanted to remind you of the BIG RCAF 100th Anniversary Event on May 3 and 4, this weekend, at our headquarters at the Bomber Command Museum of Canada (BCMC).
See below our main program for Friday and Sat. at BCMC this week. You could delay your visit to see all we are doing for our Bomber boys but this is a biggie. This event will NOT happen again for another 100 years!
Further to this, we have more info with a great CTV Calgary television report of our worldwide quest to build a Halifax for BCMC in Nanton, Alberta – just click on this link to see the report:
Finally, last week we had a great 1 hour program ONLINE with the Commemorative Air Force and the EAA Warbirds group in the USA telling everything about the Halifax Project and all H57RC and BCMC are doing to spotlight and include the unknown 8,864 RCAF Americans that flew mainly the Halifax in WW2.
See watch this special program now, SAVED on YOUTUBE, for you with big announcements about getting the Congressional Gold Medal in the USA for the 8,864 RCAF Americans! Click here below, to watch:
Also, just had word from RCAF headquarters that the airlift of our 2 Halifax outer wings from the UK to Canada on a C-17 is in final planning and we should have a airlift plan very soon.
So, after the May 3 and 4 event at BCMC I will be off to the UK to begin crating and shipping the hundreds of pounds of Halifax parts we have stockpiled in the UK back to Canada.
But now, THIS is when we really need your help with donations, as each crate costs hundreds of dollars to bring them back to Canada – thanks to Air Canada air cargo office as sponsors we are getting great financial help with hauling the parts over to us, but it is still adding up to hundreds and thousands of dollars to get our Halifax treasure home.
So we hope you will think of us now and DONATE soon to keep the Halifax Project and rebuild going. We really need your support!
WE LEAVE NO HALIFAX BEHIND.
